Niko Maroulianakis
Niko has always taken a tremendous amount of pride in being an undaunted advocate and champion for others. Niko graduated from Indiana University with a “Highest Distinction” designation, earning his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude, in the top 8% of his class. While at Stetson, Niko was a member of Stetson’s Law Review, where he wrote a law review article analyzing a poorly understood newly proposed Florida law and warning of its potential unintended consequences for Floridians.
As a law student, Niko gained valuable litigation experience as a student intern in a highly-reputed Tampa personal injury trial and litigation firm as well as a well-known criminal defense firm in St. Petersburg. He built on those skills during an externship at the prosecutor’s office in Clearwater - handling trials even before graduating. Niko has always had a natural affinity for trial law—as he was even awarded the “Highest-Grade Designation” in both his Trial Advocacy and Jury Selection skills courses at Stetson.
Following law school, Niko immediately began his career as a litigator, working at a highly regarded litigation firm representing insurance companies and large corporations. There, he accumulated significant experience handling hotly disputed personal injury and complex litigation matters in all stages of litigation and driving positive results for his clients. After learning their tricks of the trade, Niko transitioned to the type of work he had always been drawn to—representing people harmed by the carelessness and greed of corporations and insurance companies. Today, Niko continues to be motivated by his desire to help everyday people in need, who have had their lives turned upside down by unexpected tragedy. He strives to obtain the best possible result for his clients. He is an aggressive, fair, and knowledgeable attorney with the skills needed to combat the tactics used by big corporations and insurance companies.
